We get it, not everyone needs/wants a $30+ case on their phone. That’s why we put together this roundup. Here are some of the best cheap cases for iPhone 12 (and iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max).
Under $20. Our goal for this roundup is to highlight cases that cost significantly less than those from mainstream brands like Speck and OtterBox, but don’t sacrifice things like quality, functionality and aesthetics.
This case from Spigen essentially defines the category for us. Its combination of price tag and quality made it the easy choice for the ‘best cheap case’ selection in our big best iPhone 12 case roundup. It’s thin, yet still has great drop protection, and I love the look and feel of the textured pattern.

For a similar price tag and weirder name, check out the Unicorn Beetle from SupCase. We’ve featured a number of SupCases on our roundups over the years for the same reason we like Spigen: a good combination of price and quality. I personally like the Spigen more, but if you like this design better, it’s a solid choice.

If you want to go cheaper than $10, check out this case from JETTech. $6 as of the publishing of this roundup. It’s your typical plain-jane TPU/PC slip-on with raised lips above the rear camera and display. Don’t expect a whole lot at this price, but we have had good experiences with JETTech products in the past.

For a much slimmer option, we like the TORRAS Slim Fit. So much in fact that we listed it in our roundup of best ultra-thin cases for iPhone 12. Now at 0.03ish inches, it doesn’t offer much in the way of drop protection, but it’s the perfect compromise for folks who don’t like big, bulky cases.

Elago, mostly known for its Mac Apple Watch stands, also happens to make great iPhone cases. Their Liquid Silicon stands out for its smooth outer shell, soft microfiber lining, and for purposes of this roundup, its price tag. I also like that it was designed in-house (no generic bulk ordering here), and comes in a number of awesome colors.
