A lot of cases claim to be “super slim” or “ultra thin,” but they’re clearly throwing around marketing buzz words. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought a case on that promise, only to later find out it’s much thicker than I wanted. So for this roundup I can assure you we are only going to be talking about actual ultra-thin iPhone 12 cases, measuring in at 0.05 inches (1.3mm) or less. They aren’t great for drop protection, but they will guard your handset against scratches, scuffs and other surface damage.

I’ve used a number of Spigen cases over the years, and I always find them to strike a great balance between price and quality.
